Superjail Wiki

Superjail's Vegetable Garden is a vegetable garden full of sentient veggies (and a few fruits) who want to be loved and eaten by everyone in Superjail but are often jealous and seem to suffer from paranoia.

They're were first seen in the series' pilot episode "Bunny Love", being mowed by Jailbot, but reappear again in other episodes. In any of the Vegetable Garden's appearances, they will die very easily such as being eaten by sentient weed in "Best Friends Forever" to being blown up in a explosion that occurred in "Superjail Grand Prix." Their largest role in the series to date was in the Season 3 episode "Nightshift", where after The Twins transform them, they become giant monsters in that episode and had to be fought off by the combined forces of the Superjail inmates and the lunch ladies.

Trivia[]

  • Despite the Vegetable Garden having faces, they are often shown without any facial features throughout the series.
  • There was a non sentient pumpkin seen with the Vegetable Garden in "Best Friends Forever." It's unknown if the pumpkin is sentient or not.
  • The Tomatoes, Watermelons, the Zucchini from "Superjail Grand Prix", and the Cucumber from "Nightshift" are the only known fruits to be part of the Vegetable Garden. Ironically, Tomatoes (which are often mistaken for vegetables), watermelons, and cucumbers are considered to be culinary vegetables.
  • While the Tomatoes in the Vegetable Garden are female, they were shown to be male in "Nightshift."
  • The mutated Broccoli monster from "Nigthshift" appeared as an actor for a monster movie set in the Jacknife intro of "Planet Radio."
